Manhattan is the most procedurally demanding market we work in, and most of the difficulty has nothing to do with technology. Commercial addresses typically require approved certificates of insurance, vendor registration and scheduled freight access before a technician reaches the floor. Pre-war towers add a second problem: riser space is contested and existing conduit is frequently already full, so survey work is largely about establishing what pathway genuinely exists. In landmarked buildings and historic districts, what can be cored, surface-mounted or fixed to a façade is further constrained, which shapes both camera placement and door hardware selection.

Brooklyn's commercial stock is dominated by conversions, and converted buildings behave very differently from purpose-built offices.
